If you're ready to get into the trucking industry you probably have a lot of questions. Here are a few questions you should ask so you can make an informed decision. Asking these questions will keep you from making a poor decision and getting a Class A license that's worthless to prospective employers.



You and your driver trainer are together for the whole JD Truck Training Centre period and you will work as hard or easy as that particular trainer does. That may not be too appealing to some and it isn't really too much fun. The good thing is that it is over so quickly and then you'll be on your own. Make the best of this training and you'll be fine.

Everything from braking and grabbing gears; to following distance, lane changes, exit ramps and knowing who's around you, truck driving is a thinking man's game. Thinking ahead is the name of the game. Then everything falls into a natural rhythm.

The CDL written exam tests your knowledge of commercial driving and traffic laws in the state of Massachusetts. You can prepare for the written exam by attending a Massachusetts Truck driving school.

For example Chicago is a big city to get through. From 6:00 am in the morning to about 8:00 pm at night you will have a lot of traffic. 3:00 pm rush hour begins and doesn't settle down until 8:00 pm; most big cities are like this. If you are going to be going through at rush hour you're best bet is to wait at a truck stop for a few hours and take a nap.

First, is the school licensed by the State? Is it Accredited and more HR Truck Licence importantly is it Certified? To understand these factors you must understand what each of these terms represent.

The parallel parks and alley dock are not easy things truck driving school to do, especially with an 18-wheeler, when you have no experience. So if you're attending trucking school in a state that has maneuver requirements, expect to spend a lot of time in the yard practicing.

Go to an accredited truck training center or driving school! Learn the whole bases of pro trucking! And make sure you choose a school or training center which is officially certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI).
